“You are the Pixar of theatre” – Audience Member, The Owl and The Pussycat
“Delightful, energetic, enough charm to butter crumpets” – The Stage on Rumpelstiltskin

Hiccup Theatre explores the interplay between music, story telling, puppetry and music theatre. Often the music is live and the actors always perform as a ensemble; the work is collaborative, pushing the artistic boundaries of what theatre for young audiences can be.

Following the success of The Owl and The Pussycat in 2010/11, Rumpelstiltskin in 2012/13 and Pinocchio in 2013/14, Hiccup Theatre’s new production is a brand new version of the classic Japanese proverb 3 Wise Monkeys. Hiccup Theatre bring their exciting style to this classic tale, juggling live music, puppetry and mischievous storytelling in a script by acclaimed, Olivier Award winning writer Mike Kenny. Perfect for little ones and their grown ups.
