Made By Katie Green: Lost and Found Led by multi award-winning choreographer Katie Green, Made By Katie Green creates live dance performance and professional projects for a variety of performance contexts.

Made By Katie Green is an identity that allows for the diversity of Katie Green’s projects, recognising that her work encompasses more than dance, continuing and expanding upon her collaborations with theatre practitioners, composers, photographers and designers.

Alongside her many other accolades (Bonnie Bird New Choreography Award and The Pyramid Award for Contemporary Dance) Katie has recently been awarded the St Hugh’s Fellowship to embark on research for her new project Matters of Life and Death, which re-imagines a key scene from Graham Swift’s novel Waterland, in which a body is found floating in a Fenland sluice. The piece will be completed in July 2011 and is available for touring Autumn 2011 and throughout 2012.

Made By Katie Green:
- prioritises the creation of live performance work that explores the nature of relationships and the ways we express ourselves physically
- identifies the artistic practice of a multi award-winning choreographer whose work has been described as “meaningful, moving”, “compelling”, “tender and beautiful” (Sanjoy Roy, Amy Johnson, Kate Larsen)
- creates opportunities to engage new audiences nationally and internationally, to perform in unconventional spaces, and to curate performance events alongside other artists
